Foster Program:  Calling all past, present and future foster parents for the homeless animals at the Frances R. Willis SPCA.  On Monday December 7 at 7 PM we will have a presentation about the shelter's foster program in the Westvaco Room at the Dorchester County Library on Old Trolley Road.

We invite all of you to come and hear how you can make a difference by becoming a foster parent.  Our program has been improved and our success rate in placing foster animals is at an all time high.

Please tell anyone you know that might be interested in becoming a foster parent. If you plan to attend please send an email to frwspca909@aol.com .  If you have an questions please call me at the number below.  Thanks and hope to see you on Monday the 7th.

Volunteer Program:  Want to help out we have a Volunteer Program.  We have some of the nicest and hardest working volunteers, they come and play and walk the dogs and cats.  There is no set time or day you can come when you have the time.  We have children who come out also but they need to have a parent or guardian with them if they are 17 and under.  Here is the volunteer agreement: Volunteer Agreement.doc You can also email the coordinator at volunteer@summervillespca.com

Fundraiser:  We also need folks to come out and help us with our Fundraisers.  We always need help getting set up, running our booth, or just coming out and helping to hand out information to the public.  We are always open to new ideas on how to raise money.

Meet and Greet:  There is also the Meet and Greets that we go to.  We take a few dogs out and let the public see them.  This is always a great way to show our animals and maybe someone will see one and fall in love.  For more information you can email mserunner@aol.com

Thrift Store:  We now have a our own thrift store, all proceeds go to the shelter.  We are always in need of  volunteers and items.  Want to know more please call the shelter staff.
